Hiya! My names Samantha, most call me Sammy. I'm sixteen years of age  and im from a small town in New York. I have big plans for the future, possible moving to Finland. I love everything about Finland, the music, the people, the language...its a great passion of mine. My favorite bands include, The 69 Eyes, The Rasmus, Vains Of Jenna [although not from Finland], Turbonegro, CKY[Also Not From Finland], HIM, Lordi, Children Of Bodom and oh so many more. I'm An Aspiring Cinematographer.[Read Below]

Cinematographer::
A cinematographer is one photographing with a motion picture camera (the art and science of which is known as cinematography). The title is generally equivalent to director of photography (DP or DoP), used to designate a chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film, responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The cinematographer is sometimes also the camera operator. The term cinematographer has been a point of contention for some time now; some professionals insist that it only applies when the director of photography and camera operator are the same person, although this is far from being uniformly the case. To most, cinematographer and director of photography are interchangeable terms.

Magic is a pretty big passion of mine as well, im not talking about smoke and mirrors either, im talking in your face, real ,live street magic. I dont care if you dont believe it, i do so please refrain from dissing it.

I may only be 16, but I assure you, I am an enormous amount more mature than your average 16 year old and unless your extremely immature, we will get along fine.

Welcome to my Trig and Thanks For Reading!
XOXO
Sammy

I'm sick of how the United States can get away with ANYTHING just because we have a tougher army. Take the bombing of Japan for example, we killed thousands of Japanese people, most of them civilians, for what? To get revenge on Pearl Harbor? Not loose our name or our place in society? There were sev...

    its amazing America is still at war when you got attacked in 2001....maybe its time to give up...maybe America got attacked cus they keep trying to change cultures they don't understand...or maybe they are just hungry for fame and power....who knows but its totally gay...I come from a country where we banned US Nuclear ships in the 80's...so what did America do?Well they stopped trading with us..they did'nt try and take us over tho cus we don't have oil...America-land of the free?Hmm def not...America tries to teach its youth that they are fighting so that you have the freedom to post blogs like your one and so on....thats bullshit...typical American propaganda...my Country does'nt need to be at war so I can post a fkn blog or have tattooed!!LOL

    Those who join the military to serve this country are not civilians. We have a volunteer armed service, not something all countries have the benefit of, but they are no longer civilians when they put on that uniform. Those who go over to another country to defend your rights to post things like this are well aware of the risks. If they aren't then perhaps the military wasn't the best career choice.

    There are alternatives to war, but unfortunately peace talks and petitions rarely have affect. We are in a war that OUR nation called for when WE were attacked. Now that we are in it everyone wants it to be over. The logistics of pulling out of a country after invading it are far more sensitive then setting down in it in the first place.

    And when you say fix it yourself, you know, if you look at countries that are in that transition you can look at the bloody bodies that pave the way for them obtaining more rights than they are afforded now. No country who want simple civil liberties does it without bloodshed. Everything in this world comes with a price, big or small nothing is EVER free.

    I understand you are young and are seeing the world through some rose colored lenses on the concept of peace. No one steps into war hoping to kill innocent people to solve a problem they feel needs to be fixed. If you had any idea the amount of planning that goes into the loss of life being minimalized on OUR side you might not judge so harshly. The other side does not care who they kill, we happen to care about loss of life and preventing innocents being caught in the cross fire. We don't intentionally kill our own to fix our problems most other war torn nations struggling for something will.

    If you don't want to be called ignorant in any basic or complicated form do a little bit more to educate yourself on the world around you and have something to back up you being so opinionated. War is apart of every inch of history in every country in this world. Peace comes with a price and often a heavy one.

    Well if you have a problem with war, then say it, and I would probably agree with you, but pulling it all on the US is simply missing the point.
