This is americantheory
American Theory was invented back in 2005. Former Soapy Mongoose members Thomas and Charlie decided to ignite the urge to rock out in a band once again. It has been over a year since Soapy Mongoose fizzeled out due to differences and misunderstandings. American Theory is about the energy, the adrenaline rush of pure rock music. When the American Theory first started, they wondered who would play bass for the massive band? Along came old friend, and official Soapy Mongoose camera artist, Jake Randall. Jake devolped the skills at bass guitar quickly and American Theory was on their way to writing music. Stationed at the Miles Davis room at Bongo Fury, American Theory worked hard on finding a sound, and writing a tune. They experimented with whole step down turning, half-step tuning, using sampling affects, even bitching about political agendas. None of those things were truely what American Theory was about, so the brainstorming went on. Around early 2006 a fusion of musical talents was beginning to form. With the vocal talents of Thomas and Charlie growing and maturing, the bands rough sounds was becoming more together, while staying fierce and strong. Songs that vary in tone and direction. Some touching on devastating world events, with some songs touching the heart on more personal issues of human nature. For just three guys, there is a lot of energy in the American Theory. They keep going on strong, and feeling passionate about what American Theory is all about.
