Watching Stranger than Fiction at the moment... though I should be sleeping. I'm lying here with my lover next to me... he's half asleep as well, but I don't care. I just enjoy the feeling of having lying next to me, his warm body heating my bed.
If you knew you were going to die, without a doubt, what would you do? Where would you go? How would you feel?
I would go to NoCal... Mendocino County or Eureka. Where the redwoods meet the sea.
I would stand in the breeze and let the salty spray coat my body, my lips becoming chapped from the wind and the saline. Aaron would stand behind me, his arms wrapped around my waist, and we would listen to the world around us. If there is one thing I would like to do before I died, I would like to feel at peace. I would like to close my eyes, feel the wind rushing past me, and just not care about anything but that exact moment, the arms around me, and the love flowing through me.
That's what I want before I die.
