Being stuck in the E. R. for 5 hours just so they could give you a prescription sucks! I envy the health care in Canada. Oh and at that a prescription that cost me $212.00

    That is terrible!
    In the UK you have to be seen within 4 hours and emergency care is paid for by National Insurance (tax - basically) - and prescriptions are subsidised.  
    I had heard the US was really bad (but have never had to use the health system you have) but that is terrible.....I hope you are better now.
