Angel No More

In the beginning, there was only death. Then came metal, to form life. -Unknown

In spring, around two thousand and six years after the death of Christ, the guitar playing Emil Granbacka got fed up with not playing in a band. Therefore, he gathered his close able comrades, Adam Hallberg, Robin Brinck and Emil Björk, and started plotting on what was to become, that of which is only spoken of in dark legend.

At first, it was all empty words, accompanied with little to no action. It seemed as if they were all doomed into a life rid of all things evil and satanic.

Then, one day, it came down to chance, as always. The shredding and fast picking Emil just happened to mention his little desire to a certain William Hultqvist. He instantly showed great intrest and was very curious of how this would unfold. Thus encouraged Emil to "do it already".
Time went on, and yet still, no "true" band emerged from the shadows. This perplexed William into a furious rage that shook the very foundations of apathy to the core. Because of his previous endeavors in music, he knew of ways like no other, to get a cheesy band act together. Since he was such a metro sexual entity, he requested the help of Alexander Edlund, to take care of the big organ.

The first rehearsal ever, was held in the dungeons of dark Tieto. The doom choir sextet almost pulled of the piece Children of Bodom - Bed of Razors, that memorable day. Even though Alexander was busy raiding the forest killing fairy's, he was this time, forgiven.
After that historical event, the crusade moved into Domsaga (a youth club). There unholy rituals such as Arch Enemy - Burning Angel and Enemy Within, were practiced with sufficient success.
A gig then suddenly surfaced, and thus on the dreadful night of 8th of Dec 2006 the band who's name, Angel No More, now sent chills down children's spines, played a bunch of kick-ass covers.

After this, a void filled their wretched hearts. No longer, could they stay safe within the confides of others teachings. No more, did they desire to study unholy arts made by other vile creatures, created by no other than themselves.
Now they began finding their own paths to total destruction. Eventually their scores of doom started to take physical form, to echo over the surface of the earth, forever.

A long time has since passed, a few gigs were performed, victories won and they conquered a own dungeon to sulk in. Yet, there seemed to be no harmony in their pitch darkness. Something was amiss and decisions of foul evil had to be taken. Emil Granbacka, sadly did not share the vision of his fellow cultist, so he was asked to leave. We wished him all the good luck, in his future as a splendid guitarist.

And this is what has lead us to the Angel No More, that stands before you now. Stronger and more vile and brutal than what was ever imaginable. In possession of a soon to be released demonstration of the sinister powers of death metal accompanied by the choir of god, be it satanic or holy.

This leads us to present day, and only future can unfold what this dark tale brings to the destiny of dark melodies, furious riffing and thunderous drumming.
