Let's face it, there are a lot of bands out there, more than just at VampireFreaks.com. Some of the things that set them aside from each other is style, ability, location, and concepts.

The style of Awful Logic is a complex sound, while mixing gothic, industrial and electronic genres. This is a style that many bands have tried or claimed to do, many unsuccessfully. Awful Logic has taken the gothic style and truly blended it with industrial, giving a sound that otherwise does not exist. Awful Logic's ability to make music is extreme. There are many layers to their music. From noises to keyboards to hard hitting percussions. The music is meant to be heard at a loud volume to hear all the nuances. Don't be fooled by other bands calling themselves "goth," just to be another metal band, or another industrial band. This is goth music as it was meant to be: dark, depressing and unappreciated.

Awful Logic, at this time, has not played any live shows. They want to have a full roster of music available prior to playing live. They hope to start playing shows after the release of their 3rd album which is expected to be released mid 2008. Though they will probably not make it to your town, they plan to play parties and the bar scene in Omaha/Lincoln, and neighboring cities when they are ready. Awful Logic's vocals are coherent, and contain many messages. The messages vary from suicidal thoughts, death, creatures/monsters, evil, hate, and pain. It's truly the dark thoughts and experiences of the vocalist. [Read the lyrics at Awful Logic's Lyric Page.]
