Yep, it's been a long time since I've last blogged about something of any importance or even or anything we could debate.
Now a show of hands from everyone who loves System Of A Down!
who of you have seen Serj Tankian's new video Empty Walls? (For those of you who don't know off hand who Serj is, he's the lead singer of SOAD who's also just released a solo album.)
If you haven't, take a few minutes and watch it now.
Now what I want from you all is to know what this means to you?
i know when I first watched it, I got shivers, especially the ending! Maybe it's the way it's shot, maybe it's the lyrics, maybe it's the kids, maybe it's what it repersents.
Then again, what does it repersent? Is it a recreation of past events? Or is it a prediction of the future? Is it pro or anti? Serj has always been very good about not sharing his intentions but leaving it up to the listener/viewer.
So as the listener/view, what is it to you?
Now no judging or insulting other people based on their opinions, okay people?

I'd say what the children are doing is a representation of the war up till now, and the fact that it is children who're carrying on this kind of pseudo war in the playground would be his way of foreshadowing a war and strife type of future. I mean, there's an entire generation of children growing up that have no concept of life before this "attack on terrorism" ... horribly depressing when you think about it ... as far as the actual song goes, not my favourite by far, but it's nice to see that even though he's not american (he's armenian), he's taking an active interest in current events -
