We're finished with our recordings at Studio Domsaga. We want to thank our producers Roger Bergsten and Daniel Mikaelsson for their patience during this weekend.

We're back after the second day of the recording of the new demo. This day went perfect and we recorded all rhythm guitar parts. Tomorrow is our last day at Studio Domsaga and recording the bass is the plan.

We've just finished our first day at Studio Domsaga. We've recorded all drum parts and started with the rhythm guitars. The recording continues tomorrow.

October update

So here we are now in October! We´re about to start the recording sessions for the latest (and greatest!) Black Bay demo. We will enter studio Domsaga this week/weekend to record drums, rhythm guitars and bass. Clean guitars, lead´s and vocals will be recorded within the following weeks, and the plan is to be finnished before November 1st. More info about the recordings, videos from the sessions etc will of course be uploaded aswell!

We allso have two gigs for November planed. The first one will be at Primero´s Halloween party in Sundsvall and the secund gig will be at Pipeline in midle of november. More info about the gigs is on it´s way!

August update

Okey, since it´s been over a month whitout any updates, here´s some news. We have a confirmed gig at Legionfestivalen this year. We played the same festival last year and the people there really like´d us! The gig´s at saturday august 30th, and we hope to se many people in front of the stage.

Some other news. We are stil working on new songs for our upcoming demo that will be recorded this fall. Number of tracks will be... 6!!! More updates on that will come within the next couple of weeks.

Black Bay Updates!

It's been a while since we wrote anything on this blog, so why not make something about it.

We're currently working on new songs for and up-coming demo. The songs we've written so far are really great and we're really looking forward to start the recording. We don't want to rush things so we haven't planned to start the recording until this fall.

In the meantime, be sure to check out Lars' other band Legium. They are opening for the excellent band Soreption this Saturday (2008-06-28), at Club Deströyer in Sundsvall. If you live nearby, don't miss it.

Have a great summer everyone and you'll hear from us as soon as we have something to announce.

Doom Evening & Rockkarusellen

First of, we would like to thank all of you who came to Domsaga on Saturday and made Doom Evening a great night. The audience were great and Cynical Hatred & Angel No More were awesome! We would also like to give a special thanks to Wille from Angel No More for making this night possible, together with the staff from Domsaga.

De unga killarna i Black bay går från klarhet till klarhet och är inte bara väldigt skickliga musiker, de är bra scenpersonligheter och låtskrivare också.
Gruppen blir bättre och bättre för varje gig och om jag vore dubbel-Rehnarna skulle jag norpa dem illa kvickt. Det är hårt, variationsrikt och medryckande. Sedan starten har bandet fått mer progressiva tongångar, men trots det blir det aldrig otajt eller för mycket. Istället visar Black bay återigen att övning ger färdighet och att en spelning med dem alltid är se- och hörvärd."

Some less exciting news is that we've resigned from Rockkarusellen due to lack of orginazation and audience. We played one of three gigs in this competition. The gig that we played were pretty good orginazation- and audience wise, but gig number two were a disaster so we didn't even play. We apologize if you were looking forward to see us in Rockkarusellen, we don't think it's "up to standard".

We are happy to announce that we're the guest act at Musik Direkt in both Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå. So come down and see us and the competing bands.

Rock Karusellen will also kick-off for us on the 27:th of February, with two more dates in March.

And don't miss us, Cynical Hatred and Angel No More at "Doom Evening" at Domsaga in Sundsvall.

P3 Rockster - Demo of the month!

Yes, the excellent web-radio channel P3 Rockster have chosen our latest demo "Obsessed" to be their demo of the month. They will be playing the title track of that demo every day for one month, and even more if people like it.

P3 Rockster is a special channel whick play alot of rock, hard rock, heavy metal and other heavier kind of music.

We are really happy to announce that the new demo is finished. The name of the demo is "Obsessed" and contains 4 tracks. You can now listen on two of the tracks, they're called "Obsessed" and "Buried With Soul".

Here comes the last update from studio Domsaga! Yesterday we finished up the last recordings which was a few lines of vocals and screaming The mixing will start tomorrow and we hope to be finish with it tomorrow as well.

We hope to have all the new song online here on trig and at our official website www.blackbay.se in a few weeks. There is some work left with the artwork, copyright etc but we´ll try to have it online as fast as we can!

Here is the latest update from studio Domsaga. All the guitar solos, melodys and bass are now recorded. The only things left to record is clean guitars and vocals, which we have planed for tomorrow!

The plan is to mix the demo this weekend so that you will be able to listen to some new great music around next week

Hello everybody!
Today was another great day at Domsaga studios. We have now finished the recordings of all rhythm guitar tracks and tomorrow we´ll start on the HEAVY bass lines! If there is any time over after the bass recordings we´ll allso try to record all the guitar solos and melody´s.

Today was a great day in the studio! We recorded all the drums and even had time over to play with some guitar sound. Tomorrows plan is to record all the guitars or at least all the rhythm guitars.

Here comes the first (of several) reports from Black Bay and Studio Domsaga. Tonight we entered Studio Domsaga and unloaded all our gear and setup the drums and guitar amps.
We did´nt do much more tonight, but tomorrow we´re goona start soundchecking and recording the drums.

This Friday (October 19:th) at 17:00 on P4 Radio Västernorrland, Black Bay will be one of two challengers who will try to make it up to the regular playlist on the radioshow SR Demo. It's a programme with music from local bands in our county. We need your help to make it in to the list. October 8, 2007 | Gigs and a new demo!

Hey fox!
First of all i would like to say that all the guys in the band are very glad for all the positive response that we have got from all the people here att trig.com and we would love to meet all of you out there on a gigant world tour, but it seem´s that will have to wait just a litle longer ^^

But we do have some good news! We currently have two local gigs booked here in sweden, (you can read about those under "Events") and we have plans on recording our third demo in early november. More news about that will be published soon!!!

Wow!!! 9 friends and 26 trigs on 24h! I don´t know if that was worth mention but i did anyway ;)

We hope to find more friends and fans here who likes our music, and to find other bans to gig with. I can also mention that we are currently working on some new material for the next demo that will be recorded later on this fall.
