A five-piece indie-pop/rock band from the Helsinki hot-spot. Brightboy released their debut album in June 2006 and got all the praising that they deserved as one of the frontline bands in Finland, making it a lot easier for the newcomers of the new wave of new wave. Huh! Brightboy toured all over Finland throughout 2006 and made name for themselves as a kick-ass live band, which gave the band a definite credibility they craved for after the two 'hit' singles "1989" and "Vanity Fair" that dominated the charts in national radio stations. After the fuss and the hype, the band went back to the basement where the real music lives to prepare the forthcoming second album.
