Candiman started his life in the traditional candi fields of his home land. One day there was a terrible accident and Candiman saved the lives of many towns folk. The details of the event are not clear however. Candiman was regarded as a hero and quickly became famous. People in Candiland started to get mysteriously ill. Even the best Candi in Candiland could not help the people of Candiland. The leaders of Candiland assembled a team to figure out what was making everyone sick. Using the latest scientific methods and the greatest wizards and shamans in the land they discovered the cause of the illness (while still a mystery) was coming from the realm known as Earth.
There was only one course of action to take. They would send their greatest hero Candiman to the Earth realm to discover and stop the cause of the great illness.
