My mouth is infected! Gross. Thanks to my lovely wisdom teeth, I have a not-so-lovely infection. I've been given penicillin and codeine, so hopefully, things will get better.
Unfortunately, this is going to be putting a serious damper on my travels to NYC tomorrow, for The Colbert Report, taping. It hurts to laugh. Stephen Colbert is going to make my face fall off.
The codeine has done nothing since I took it four hours ago, it made it tolerable to eat (soft)solid food for about a half hour, but that's about it. Still hurts like crazy. I feel like there's a golf ball lodged in the one side of my mouth, and razor blades under my tongue.
Otherwise, I can't sleep because I"m too excited about tomorrow.
