Hello to all! So here I am writing on my way back to Kentucky. The concert was reallllllllly good. I met some awesome fuckers, rocked hard and met of all the 69 Eyes AND Wednesday 13. So start of the day, I woke up at Bruce’s house. Now, Bruce, he is a fucking cool guy! He was a friend of my Mom back when she was my age. He was a past biker guy from the 60’s talked to me about seeing Jimi Hendrix’s experience and compared tattoos. One story was he was getting one and the artist had a heart attack and still finished the tattoo and then went to the hospital. One thing is he did when we first walked in was ask if any of us smoked. He had one smoking room. It was really cool looking place. Anyway so we were chilling out at his house and left around two-ish. Went down to the venue and my brother and I went to Wendy’s. We ate a bit. Then after a while we went over there. We sat down and got in “line” after waiting there we had someone from the venue tell us where the line was in some back alley. So we went there and met up with some chicks. Talked to them for a bit, they were cool! After talking to one for about a half hour I had a wife, so they were just really friendly. Sadly none were on trig…but that change ^_^. I met me some trig people and they were cool people too! More on them later. Then met with some more people…then my wife and I had a kid! ^_^ My brother was the only dude in this group so I know he HAD to have a lot of fun! Also saw Lilmissspookiness from the forms.

So we get into the venue. The first band was alright. The lead singer kept on staring down random people in the audience. I really could not hear the vocals because the rest of the band was drowning him out. Then the second band was cool. At the end of the set the lead singer freaked out one of the bouncers because he jumped off of one of the high speakers. Then Wednesday 13 came on with a KICKASS set. It was the first time I saw him in concert and he was REALLY good. I ended up nicking Wednesday’s set list. My brother on the other hand got a set list from them AND Wednesday’s guitar pick. It was his birthday so he got it.

Then the main event came! The guys were SOOOOOO GOOD!! The songs were all awesome! Only thing that torked me was they didn’t play wasting the dawn and I love that song. *tear* I swear I felt like a little puppy with ADD because I would be watching Bazie play guitar then Jyrki would be doing some on the side so I kept on looking back and forth…I was not able to keep my eyes one place more than five seconds! The last of the set came ending with Perfect Skin and devils. I got Archize’s pick! I was stoked! Now all I need is one of Timo Timo’s pick and my collection of picks will be complete! MWHAHAHAHA!!! Ahem, anyway….I got to the meet and greet and they told us they could not do any signing…I have this sketch book, well several and every time I am done with one I get it signed and sort of retire so I still have one that I need to get signed…it just doesn’t feel complete without it.

Also I met with Wednesday for a minute; I got him to sign my set list that I nabbed. I also dropped my sharpie. I just was trying to pass it off like I did something really bad “Oh NO! The hold sharpie! The gods will smite me now!” Now that I look back I am like, dumbass. But then I told him I am okay because I have Acey’s tie. Wednesday was like yeah I know him! In the most sarcastic voice I could make I said “How would you know Acey?” and did a little cock of my head to the side. Wednesday then said “Ah, I have just met him a few times.” He was a cool guy.

So then I left and went back to Bruce’s house. I made a joke the night before about him not having any beer. He got me a 6 pack of corona! I was stoked. I had a couple and went to bed. It was all cool. Now the next concert I think I will be hitting up is Trashlight Vision and Wednesday 13 when they are on tour next time!
