Well, looks like we've been included in Westword's "Best of Denver" issue. None of us had any clue. Friends had to call us up and tell us. It is an honor to be nominated for "Best of Denver" in the Death Metal/Thrash/Grind category, because I've been using the Westword for years to find cool places to go get hammered at, find out when shows are coming, etc. It's honestly one of the best things in Colorado, in my opinion. We knew nothing of voting for the nominees because honestly, we've been too busy playing and writing new shit to really care about what's been going on outside of Con Ass. Next thing we know, we've been nominated.

So with all that said, I'm gonna be straight up about this:
I know this makes me a bad bandmember, but I really don't like tellin' y'all to go vote for us. I feel like a pretentious, egotistical asshole, although we all know that's pretty far from who I am. I think it's basically because the other bands in the same category as us are good fucking bands that I also enjoy myself. Hell, stick all those fuckers on one bill and I'd totally go pay to see that shit, no joke. So yes, I do feel like an asshole tellin' y'all to go vote for us when the other bands deserve the vote just as much.


Even other bands that I love and are friends of ours that share the same category as other bands that fall into friends/bands we're cool with...I had a hard time choosing. It wasn't about who I was cooler with, it wasn't about whose music I enjoyed more: it was about those that I see actually being out there, promoting themselves, throwin' it down live, etc. They also work their asses off and I respect that. In my opinion, almost all of those bands work their fucking asses off: that's why we were all nominated for "Best of Denver". Notice was taken of the hard work that was put in, bottom line.


So here's the thing: just go fucking vote. Do your research, listen to the music from the other bands and make your own decision.

I'm just here to tell you to do the following things:
1.) Vote.

2.) Support.

3.) Keep the suppo
