We have all been taught this from the time we were knee-high to a grass hopper, right? Let me start by saying that I almost never have an issue with my work being posted on your MS or TRIG pages. I actually welcome it. It is a joy to see my work splashed all over MS and TRIG. I DO, however, have big issues with anyone altering my images or removing my watermark. I am not a P&S photographer. I put a lot of time and effort into my work. It is not fair to me or any other artist out there to steal their work and call it or let others assume it's your own. As a musician, how would you feel if I downloaded one of your songs, re-mixed it, and posted it as my own work? You'd be rather pissed if no credit was given back to you, wouldn't you? You would feel you were well within your right to take legal action, wouldn't you? And you would be well within your right to take full legal action. It truly takes the joy out of what I'm doing! It makes me want to put the camera down and that is sad. Copyright infringement is a serious offense here in the States so please respect me and my work, so I wont have to take it to the next level. Leave my work in it's original form with the watermark INTACT!!

Really though, it says a lot when you have to spell this out to folk - I mean how utterly stupid do you have to be to think that this is acceptable? Seems like this is a big problem for photographers at the minute, which sucks for the rest of us when you all decide to stop sharing your images with us who love them, just because of some think twat that thinks they're above not only the law, but rules of common decency. I'm not surprised that you're pissed chick, I know I would be too.
