Crave The Air

...and that's just what these 4 young Brooklyn musicians did in the spring of '06. After a painstaking search for a singer that took 4 gruelling years, the match had been found and the band that was to be known as Crave The Air had begun.
     Embarking on what would seem to be the long run of this band's existence, they began to play shows locally around the Brooklyn underground scene doing what they could to create a stir about CTA.
     Passionately head banging all over the 5 boroughs, they pursued their dream of respect and status amongst the metalheads of the great city of New York. Amid these days of metal mayhem, CTA headed into the studio to record what was believed to be their most admired collection of material, a 5 song EP entitled "A Prayer in the Prospect of Death". After an unimaginable year in the studio, the CTA crew felt it was ready to unleash their creation on the masses, however, this was not going to be as expected.
     In December of '07 after a month hiatus, Chris, the late bassist had to leave the group due to personal matters. This put quite the hault on movement for the band but, strong hearts prevailed and Crave The Air decided they must pursue the dream even if it meant adding a new part to the machine, which is never easy.
     Crave The Air is currently set aside from the scene looking for that important 4th member and awaiting their time to unleash once again on the metal masses of NYC. The EP has been pushed back again and again but, will be released very soon! Thanks for reading and we hope all of you will stay on board for the legacy this band is aiming to leave.
