Fine Art is fun - no it's not drawing and painting (unless thats what you choose to do) it's anything you want. For example an idea can be the art so you dont even have to make the piece yourself like Marcel Duchamp and his 'Urinal'. So a shark in a tank is art, as is: an un-made bed, throwing paint around, dressing up, leaving a tap running, having a frozen mould of your head made out of blood, a hole in the floor etc... However you must have a point that you are making, art can not be made without purpose and reason. As long as you are giving a message/expressing something (like emotion for example) you can do anything that you want, using anything that you want. So it's a pretty fun subject to have taken for University, not too sure what you do with a degree in it though? Infact you dont even need a degree to be a fine artist, just makes certain things easier. I do find however that the amount of freedom we can get sometimes makes me feel lost and confused as there is never an end to reach and way too many possibilities. Oh well.....
