Why do people feel inclined to explain themselves in a few short paragraphs or sentences of text that is meant to convince someone of who we are. We have been carefully constructed through a lifetime of experiences and education and yet we still feel obligated to try and portray the vast world that exists within us through a few lines of scripted text.
