DarkestJuly

Darkest July is a one man Goth/electronic band with the only band member MIDI in the front.

2004 Darkest July was born in as an pure instrumental gothproject.

2006 Darkest July began to record a few songs and added vocals for what would come to be a unreleased demo called Eux. Eux was the start and also the mark to set the sound and style of Darkest July.  The music of Eux was a mix of darkwave, goth, goth rock with an eerie touch. Although the demo never was released, it took the project further down the road and a sound and style was established.

2007 Darkest July began working on recording 5 new songs for the minialbum Coeur. September 15 was the date that Coeur was released, this was  the album that took Darkest Julys music to a new level, Coeur purpose was to bring back the melody and the fun to the gothic rock scene.

2008 Darkest July is again refining its sound. A new album called Dark Desires is released (digitally) in June 2008. The sound and lyrics for Dark desires was more fictional and had a great influence from Japanese music. The work with Dark Desires took almost 7 month to complete, the great vision of Darkest July came closer to reality.

Darkest july is now more productive than ever and a new album is on the way.
