I'm just sorting some images from Bloodstock Indoor Festival 2006 and had to share a couple of things.

Firstly, that was where I first saw Deathstars live and was totally hooked.  And the first time I've kicked someone at a gig.  Deathstars got a lot of stick at BS06 from some narrow minded pillocks, and after I'd finished shooting, I dumped my kit with a couple of friends and went back to watch the guys, only to find myself stood next to prick of the month heckling at the top of his voice.  So I kicked his leg and said "OI DICKHEAD!! If you don't like them piss off to the bar before I have you removed, coz some of us are trying to watch here!"

Honestly, a festival over 2 days with 2 stages of bands and the idiots couldn't go play with themselves for a while if they didn't like ONE band. What really annoyed me was these are the people who hail themselves as the laid back people of the music scene so accepting of everyone and non judgemental

They should have taken a leaf out of my book ... when My Dying Bride (or as my friends calls them My Bryan's Died) came on I did my turn in the pit and then retired to the balcony with a drink after tracking down Deathstars in the dressing rooms to get contact details for future dates.  I have to say MDB is the dullest band I've ever put myself through .... the most interesting thing about them ... MY PICTURES!!  And even then, they weren't the most interesting pictures because you have the choice of Aaron looking brooding in one position with his eyes closed, or if you're REALLY patient and quick to shoot when it happens, Aaron looking brooding in the same position with his eyes open.  Did absolutely nothing for me!
