Okay, so I'm more amused than angry but...

I go off to see some brass band action on the whit walks (what ever they are?? I never did find out!) to be stopped, questioned and searched by the fuzz!  After they checked my camera to find I hadn't - as they claimed - been taking pics of the mounted police I still had to give all my frigging details to them.

The one question I loves was "Do you have any outstanding features? Scars or tattoos, for example?"

"Um," I replied pointing to the 4 inch scar on my forehead, a 2 inch scar above my ear and poking my stretched tongue out...

(I think the ociffer nearly passed out at the sight of my tongue but quickly recovered to pull his mates over to show me off like some freak show being asked the usual why and does it hurt ramblings.

Yeah, I corrected him on this one!

Oh well, atleast I got to see the tartan brass band in kilts and some crazy Swiss brass band with a hyperactive o.a.p. flag bearer!
