Hmm...

I almost never use trig anymore. Hell, I hardly check it. Lately I can be found primarily on Livejournal and Myspace. And depressingly on facebook. I hate that site.

News...I bought a wireless router. I came back from Japan....I'm eating a grapefruit right now. I'm playing WoW again. This time I have a character on Uther. Troll Shaman, like my first toon. I've been playing what...a little over a week? and she's already level 31. If I go hard for the next day or two I should be able to hit 40 in two days I think. No, 3 days.

I suck at blogging. Ima go...do something else. Jaa.
Menen Suomessa!!!!!!!!!!

So I bought my ticket to Finland on Tuesday. I'll be gone from December 28th to February 26th. It'll be nice to have winter again. Although this year we're supposed to have a really cold winter here too...but Finland will be colder and things won't shut down cuz of a little snow.

Now that I've bought my ticket I'm nearly panicking. I mean, what if I don't have enough money for two months? Or what if something happens? Or what if...

Yeah. I should just stop thinking. I'll be fine. I've been fine every OTHER time I've gone traveling. I am going to start working over time in november and december, Two months of overtime I think I can manage without going completely fucking insane. Plus it'll be better money cuz I'll be making 12/hr. So time and a half for overtime...that's much shinier.

I realized I'm going to need to buy new shoes for finland. I've already decided the boots I want to buy. So I need a hundred and fourty bucks for those or so. And then I need to buy more sweaters. I saw some cute ones at old navy....but I can't afford to buy anything new, so I'm gonna have to go down to Value Village and go secondhand shopping. Which is okay. Maybe i"ll find something really cool. I'm also going to modify a sweater I already have into a dress. It'll be super cute. I'm gonna try to do that this weekend. I hope I don't completely destroy the thing, cuz I kinda like it as a sweater as it is. It's like HUGE. But if I can make the dress I want out of it, then it'll be worth it.

I did buy a new jacket though. It's felt and knee-length and really really warm. I hope it'll be warm enough for Finland. Although I do have another winter coat, as well. I'm not going to be taking my trench coats. Even though the felt one is pretty warm, it's not warm enough and can get pretty awkward if I have to wear too many layers with it. I need to pick up a backpack. A big one. I'll be doing the backpack thing (with my laptop...lol) so if My sister can't get her hands on the big green pack I need to buy a new one. Which will A) suck cuz it costs money and B)be awesome cuz I can finally buy one I like.

Hmmm.....so that's all i've been thinking about lately. Well, that and Jrock. And how much I wish I was still learning japanese and not Finnish. Guh. This language is so awkward for me.

But. I'm trying. And will continue to try. I will probably STILL be trying when I'm on the plane. Hehe.

Anyway....I have to go get ready for work. I'll try to come by here more often.
ただいま!

Gotta say: not really looking forward to getting a new job. But on the other hand, even the internet can be hella boring, so maybe its for the best. I have a few things I need to modify clothing wise. Today I also have to tidy up my room. My new short term goal is to change a few things in my life. For one...keeping everything neat and tidy so I don't get overwhelmed and let it pile up. Since it took me two or three days to clean my room last time...I'm thinkin of not doing that again.

I bought a day planner. Haven't had one of those since high school. But I think it might help me set realistic short term goals, and maybe even start a real scheduled existence. At least for as long as I am in canada, lol. When I am outside the country...all is fair game.

So I want to start going to the gym. Which means I need to find someone to go with. It's not even necessarily the gym, the pool would be just as effective. But I am thinking that maybe I should start swimming laps to build up the muscles I need for surfing, so the next time I go I can, you know, actually surf. Cuz...upper body strength of a wet noodle + surfing = not so much. Maybe I'll see if Chris is still going to Oak Bay once a week. That might be good, cuz it's once a week I can actually swim laps and use the gym.

Now I can't help but wonder how long this motivation will last...

Also I think I might try to reduce the carbs in my diet. But that's coincidental really.
I've been an active blogger this week...

...so all it takes to make a happy Steffi is:
-fresh Cherries (preferably white, but black is okay too)
-fresh raspberries
-fresh-picked apricots

...and I just finished the raspberries, am about to finish the white cherries, already ate the black ones, and had an apricot off the tree in the backyard.
My new mission in life...

Is to ride rollercoasters in every country I go to. I think I rode seven in the past seven days. (Two in Santa Cruz, and five at Great America).

So if anyone knows of rollercoasters I absolutely MUST visit, please let me know! I wanna ride more rollercoasters!!!!! *bounces* IWANNAGOAGAIN!!!!!!! Seriously. I used to be afraid of them. Now...ohmygod now I just want to ride them all the time. *superbounce* I already miss Top Gun and Invertigo. Those were the best two so far. Except I had to take my ears off for Invertigo. *laughs* inside joke.

I. Love. Rollercoasters. *runs around and passes out from heat exhaustion*

I got waaay too much sun yesterday...
So...new things new things...

I'm in California. *nods* Its sunny. I went into San Francisco with my friend Kelcey (who's my friend Hailey's little sister) and we ended up spending most of the afternoon in Japantown. Like Chinatown. Only. Japanese. *superbounces* I ended up picking up Arena37C AND a japanese pop mag for like twenty bucks. WTF. I know that it's USD and not CDN, but FUCK. Even with the conversion rate that is HELLA less than I paid for one issue of Shoxx. NOT to mention they had the GLB AND ゴスロリ(GOSU-RORI). G-R would have only been like....maybe twenty bucks CDN and admittedly the GLB is still like 30 bucks. BUT. I spent 32 CDN on the GLB the last time i found it. And this shop had back issues! *dies*

Plus they had the new Shoxx and the new Arena37C, AND...*faints* I just aboud died. Plus all this manga in japanese. Speaking of which i totally forgot to check out the last few volumes of Hana-Kimi. But it's cool, cuz all the manga was shrinkwrapped anyway.

Um. So most of that probably doesn't make sense to most of you. Which I apologize for. I have a bit of an obsession with Japan at the moment, so I was pretty much in heaven in Japantown. Although we didn't go for Japanese food. Neither Kelcey nor Hailey like Japanese food. I think I might take their dad out. Just because hey, Japanese food. And he likes sushi. *nods* of course first he has to be HERE....silly doctors.

So we're going to....somewhere with rollercoasters on thursday. Which is also the start of the livejournal permanent accoutn sale. I really want a permanent account. But I don't really have 150$ US to put towards it. *sigh* and then in a few weeks we're going surfing. Which totally rocks my ...currently non-existant socks. I have wanted to learn to surf for AGES, but finding a ride out to Uclulet/Tofino and someone to teach me...*sigh* not so easy. Funny that. *bounces around*

Sooo...I hope that satisfied everyone's need for random....I'm gonna go crosspost this to my LJ. KBYE.

Foreign languages are so much more interesting than English...especially when it comes to music... *rocks out to Flinch*

I really just want to get the hell out of here. The UK, Finland, maybe Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Iceland, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, China... So many places to go, so many things to see, and so many many languages to try and pick up...

It has been a very long week. But my computer is up and running again, I didn't throw out my wallet this week, and I have a burlesque show of sorts to go to tomorrow night with a friend. Things could definately be worse. So very much worse. *takes deep breath* And next weekend is Dracula the Ballet and my sister's birthday. I am looking forward to it so much.

Anyway, that's really all I've got to say...random crap...go me.

I feel stabby...oh so stabby...

So my computer got a virus. And it pretty much raped my system. So after spending a week trying to fix it I bit the bullet and reformatted.

So that was fine, and then I go to do something and realize that since I reformatted I have none of my files and all the programs I use regularly haven't been reinstalled. Oh joy. So today, which was supposed to be a decidedly lazy day spent playing WoW and hanging out with friends later is being spent reinstalling everything. Happy. Joy.

On the upside, everything is working properly again. *dances* No more viruses for me! And I have a valid antivirus now. Which is obviously also of the good. Oh what joy.

Anyway, so I'm gonna go back to reinstalling things....fsking virus. *wanders off grumbling*
