There is nothing but our breathing that links us.
How I wish not just being would connect us together.
How I wish you would lean over and tell me everything I wish to hear.
The wihispered words that I long to hear.
Could this fantasy ever turn reality?
This mere dream ever come true?
I gaze at you from afar and know that it will never be.
Never will your arms embrace me.
Never will you look upon me with affection.
Never will you return the thoughts that I send.
These empty thoughts and vacant hopes of you are all I have.
