My deformities are growing. 

First a tooth missing now a black eye. 

What will my crush think? 

I’m some sort of deformed human? 

Maybe he’ll think I’m not human at all. 

How will I face him? 

Everyone will laugh me out of the room! 

He’ll gaze upon me with pity and a look of sorrow in his eyes. 

I don’t want his pity or his sorrow, but what if that’s all I receive from him? 



No admiration? 



No look of desire? 



I could not bear it! 



What will happen if I lose another tooth or an arm? 

My crush will ignore me and I’ll never be loved. 

I’m a disgrace to the family name and my family will disown me for no man will court me. 

I’m a disgrace from to women everywhere. 

I’ll be an old spinster and live in the family home for the rest of my dying days. 

Kids will call me names and create legends of that 'old biddy in that huge house.'

I will never show my face again.
