[This is a story I wrote Thursday night while I was sitting in bed TRYING to go to sleep. Enjoy!]

      I stand in the dark, just another shadow blending in. Shadows swaying to unheard music, unknowing of what they're doing. Suddenly a scarlet light filters through the dark and out you step, sharp teeth snapping and snarling at the shadows. You notice me though the blobs of black and pull me by the hand through the light. I hesitate and you look back worridly. You have the kindest eyes I've ever seen. In a portrait of hard lines and sharp points, those chocolate eyes are soft and sweet. I feel safe just staring into them. Then you pull me to you and embrace me tightly.
You whisper softly in my ear, "Dearling, are you okay?"
I smile brightly up at you, "I am now!"
You grip me tighter and pull me closer to your strong chest. Just then I scream and start to fall. I fall endlessly. I gasp and wake up in my bed, soaked in sweat. You slip your ams around me, comforting me as I come out of what you think was a nightmare. All I can think of is how much I want to go back. I want to be lost in your strong arms and sweet smile even if it's in that smoky club. I smile and reassure you then snuggle down into your arms. I kiss you softly and tell you all about my dream. Soon we're following eachother back to our secret world where all our dreams may come true.
