oh! this is a bug, there should be a checkbox for it below where you input your bio. It will be updated shortly.

and yet again another noob question.... what are the little yellow, green, and red dots above each person in the friend's list?

They show if someone is on line (green) idle (yellow) or off line (red)  

If you go to settings and the privacy section you can adjust your on line preferences

i have a newbie question! how do people get a "personal" section, where thay can put stuff like their fave bands/ movies etc.?

am i being totally stupid by not knowing?

and yet another newbie question! how do i set my music player to auto-start? I've gone into settings to make sure the " don't allow any music player to auto-start" box wasn't checked, and it wasn't.. but that still didn't fix it
