i've seen far too many bands to list, and i'm glad i've seen all of them, good or bad.  however, the band i'm happiest i saw without INTENDING to see, is Nix Noltes.  They played at an Animal Collective show i attended, and it was the best live music discovery i've ever stumbled upon.

GG Allin, Faith No More, Mr Bungle,  Metallica with Cliff Burton, Rage Against the Machine, Fugazi, Korn in a little bitty club on their first tour, Clutch, Nine Inch Nails, GWAR (at least 10 times, never a bad show), Pink Floyd, DBX, Anthrax, Misfits, deadhorse

I'm sure I'm leaving one or two out. I'm glad I got to go to Lollapalooza before it became a money grab. I'm glad I got to experience the Westheimer Street Festival before it got neutered. I hope I get to go to SXSW sometime soon, but it's heyday is probably already long gone.

I have seen The 69 Eyes, Cradle of Filth, Three Inches of Blood, Program the Dead, HIM, and Aiden live.  So I guess I'm glad that I took the chance to see all of them.

I am also glad that I made it a point to see a local band called N-oD the other night too.  They got signed now, so the other night was their last show here at home.

Back To Back

I'm lucky to have been able to see a ton of shows over the years and witness a lot of great bands in their peak, or at least when they were still together.
Warzone, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth Of Today, Slapshot, Black Flag (it was the later years, but at least I got to see them), Quicksand, Black Train Jack, AFI (before they turned into whatever they are now), Metallica (before they turned to garbage), Snapcase, Underdog, VOD, Earth Crisis, 108, Ressurection, Burn, Insted, Integrity, blah blah blah....  and of course I'm always glad to see Sick Of It All!

I could go on and on ‎...  Honestly, I think that anyone who goes to see any true underground show should be glad they got to see it becuase they are getting swallowed up and shut down left and right...

Cheers

The Academy Is... (which sounds silly because they're still playing shows BUT they are great guys and I'm so lucky to have seen them as many times as I have)...Get Up Kids, I'll second that...I felt pretty cool seeing The Fixx when I was about 13. Alabama. Billy Corgan on his solo tour. Secret Machines, who put on the most amazing show ever, every time I see them.

There aren't a lot of bands I haven't seen that I'd like to see, at least that are still around. I've been pretty lucky.

not a band, but i am glad i got to see George Jones perform...he's old in age and he's country, but that some good drinkin' music when you're down and out. it was an awesome show...and the closest thing to a Misfits reunion when Doyle played shows Danzig on the Blackest of the Black Tour over a year ago. That show was great....

hmm, definitely Green Day because that was just insane, all three times. Kill Hannah never ceases to amaze me. Aiden was a real, pleasant surprise. Billy Talent was awesome. 30 Seconds to Mars was very good. My Chemical Romance was amazing when they opened for Green Day. I have to say the only dissapointing band that I've seen was Kings of Leon.

When I went to the Summer Sanitarium tour(2003) in Austin, Tx I saw Metallica , Deftones, Linkin Park (meh), Limp Bizkit Mudvayne, and that's it for that tour. Metallica was by far the best. I was sooo happy I finally got to see them. It would've been better to see them in their "hey-day" but w/e.

Another tour I went to in Corpus Christi, Tx would be the Sounds of The Underground tour in 2006. GREAT lineup PERIOD. They started with a couple of small bands, but they still sounded decent. Can't remember their names though. The heavy hitters I saw were GWAR, In Flames, Trivium( I got their autographs! ) Cannibal Corpse, and As I Lay Dying

And the most recent band I've seen live and absolutely LOVED. none other than TOOL. Seeing them live was out of this world. When they tour again..IF they tour again....I'm going to try my hardest to attend every show in Texas. It was amazing.

trig.com. A community for creative people with images, blogs, music, trends, etc. Yeah, we could say all that. But what we really imagine is a place where people like their music loud, their opinions edgy and their life brave.
