Technically, the first gig I went to was a Shakin' Stevens concert which I was bullied into by my mother, but if I don't tell anyone, then it doesn't count. Right?

I think my first one was The Cure, about 1990 or something like that.

First ever hat I went to was the New Port Folk Fest.  I was like ten.  Went with my folks.  Got to see the Clancy Brothers & Tommy Mackem as well as John Lee Hooker.  I slept thropugh B.B. King though.

first show i ever went to...hmm..it was actually a festival, Download festival 2003 the day Iron Maiden headlined, was a awesome day...felt a bit weird though, lol beign 13 and sitting aroudnw it hloads of metal heads and bikers, hehe, was awesome...

my first concert ever was the red hot chilli peppers during the one hot minute tour.

The first "concert" I ever went to was the Moody Blues at Madison Square Garden when I was about 4.  I still have vague memories of it, too.

The first real "show" I ever went to was Black Flag at City Gardens (Trenton, NJ) in 1985.  Scariest, coolest thing I had ever witnessed, and it changed my life, lol.

alright, so my first real concert i went to was KISS right after i turned 16...it was an awesome show. but the truth of the matter, is that my really, real first concert was with my folks to see Lee Greenwood. he's the guy that sings that song, "God Bless the USA" which got sickenly huge after 9/11. Both the concert and 9/11 bad days to remember...

If i'm not mistaken, L. Greenwood also does "Some Velvet Morning (When I'm Straight)", which is an awesomely good song.  I think it's awesome that you got to go see him, and I'm jealous!  I'll give you credit that the God Bless the USA song is a little gag me w/ a spoonish, though. 

Europe on their world tour 87 or 88 I think. It was pretty cool for a 4 year old boy...

My first concert was the KROQ Weenie Roast in 00. I was 11 I think.

mine was the agony scene, remembering never, hastings way *an old local band here*, throwdown, and sinai beach.  it was by far the best concert i've ever been to.  it was badass

My first...oh! Carter U.S.M. here in Zagreb back in 1994 with some local support bands...would kill to see them play live again! Too bad they no longer exist!

the first concert i went to was warped tour this year. i saw rise against first, but the best show of the day was 30 seconds to mars

The First One I Went To Was Rush At America West Arena. They Call It US Airways Now. Anyway That Was Back When I Was.........Small? It Was The Tour For  Their Test For Echoes Cd. Its Kicked Ass Cos They Had The Laser Lights And Stuff. Then I Fell Asleep. But When I Woke Up I Had A Tshirt And Hot Dog Waiting For Me.

My First Show Was Probably AFI At The Rialto Theater In Tucson. I Dont Remember What Year That Was.
Or Maybe It Was Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy, Nevermore, And Children of Bodom At The Cajun House/The Venue.
Or It Could Be That Time When HIM Came Out For Their First Tour US With Eighteen Visions And Some Other Band. I Seen Them At The Marquee Theater. 
I Dont Remember Which One Came First Though. 

i first concert was Evanescence earlier this year, 2007, i love the band and the music.

... BUT it was complete and utter crap!!!!

lol....this year. Taste of Chaos. My mom got me tickets for my birthday. it was awesome.  Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet for my Valentine, some japanese bands, and a few other small bands....it was the greatest thing ever!
