....The Misfits are a must, I will admit to liking Alkaline Trio even though I despise pop punk (they have good lyrics).....the Damned are a little overrated, but still good.

I love street, crust, and hardcore punk.....Way too many bands to name, but off the top of my head:
Nausea, Black Flag, Amebix, The Adicts, Nekromantix, Horror Pops, Agnostic Front, Cheap Sex, Subhumans, UK Subs, Crass, A Global Threat, The Adolescents, Lower Class Brats, The Germs,  The Varukers, The Devotchkas, X-Ray Spex, The Vibrators, The Stooges, The New York Dolls, Circle Jerks, and of course Samhain.

I like a lot of Punk bands, though not a huge fan of the pop-punk "genre". 

Pennywise, Bad Religion,  NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, Operation Ivy, Black Flag, DK's, AFI, Alkaline trio (especially the self titled), Misfits, Ramones and the Refused are some of my more liked artists...

FOB isn't exactly punk.they are "pop punk". I really don't see how it is at all like real punk. I think it just sounds like pop, only they actually play instruments. anyway, I like FOB's new song "this ain't a scene, it's an arms race".

 

punk bands I like are Texas Terri Bomb, Chelsea Smiles, Voodoo Love Cats, the Sex Girls, Civet, Angel City Outcasts, and Prima Donna(kind of a glammy punk like the new york dolls) I will be very suprised if anyone knows these bands.

i love me some punk music...alkaline trio, nofx, operation ivy, guttermouth, anti flag, one man army, dead to me, subhumans, the misfits...i'm stopping now but there's a lot more.

I am not the biggest "punk" fan however i love all genre's of music so i can not go without giving praise to band's such as The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Clash, The Velvet Underground, The Ramones and so on

wow, im actually really happy with the fact that no one's tried to tell anyone else what "real" punk music is yet (its usually inevitable). On goes the list:
