This is Gompa
I am an entity made up of four guys- a drummer from Scarborough, guitarist from Switzerland, and a bass player & second guitarist from Sweden. I was born in may, 2001 and have appeared in various constellations since then. Currently I am very active here in Stockholm, and my song 'JackKnife' is a single on national radio.
Maik, the part of me that sings and plays guitar, is currently working alongside my own producer, Christian Svensson, as co-songwriter and co-producer for various up and coming acts and artists. They have also written a song for ex-Nightwish Tarja's new album.
Meanwhile, Dan, the part of me that plays guitar, has been having much success with his other band, Diablo Swing Orchestra.
The Future
I had to let the part of me that plays bass go; a new part is being arranged. As of october, the recording of my new batch of songs will begin, as will more gigs in and around Stockholm.
Beginning of 2008, I will take part in a major 'London-gighop' together with my friends 'Of The I'.

Gompa tortured another audience at their residential 'Stampen' venue in Gamla Stan of Stockholm.
Meanwhile Gompa are looking for more gigs, since none are booked (despite millions of offers from venues and arenas worldwide. But we are very picky!)
