From the deep beyond they descend upon the Earth. Slowly they circle our

planet, calculating weakness, charging complex weaponry, advanced beyond our

comprehension, and amusing themselves with the images of chaos transmitted

from our greatest cities. Then, in a storm of radiation and firestorms of

unrelenting fury, it is over. Mankind, save for a few thousand blistered and

dazed souls, is destroyed. As the death-ships fade into the cold distance of

space the survivors of the holocaust begin their final, hopeless crusade for

survival. A crusade that will be fraught with sickness, hopelessness and

death, and ultimately lead to the extinction of mankind. Welcome to the Cold
