How would you feel meeting the person you adore most?

Well now I know that feeling.
I am a HUGE fan of Kat Von D and I got a chance to meet her.
We passed by her tattoo shop in the middle of the day down here in LA and I knew they were filming so I couldnt go in. So we came back around 9:30 at night and I saw her through the window and started getting nervous "Oh my gosh thats totally her" haha. But the sign said no minors.
My dad went in and asked her if she could come to the door and say hi to me or something but she said I could just come in and ignore the sign.
So I went in introduced myself and told her I'm a big fan of hers and we took a picture together. I was shaking so hard, I'm sure she felt it. haha.
What I was 'expecting' was for her to say nice to meet you have a nice night or something.
But she's so much cooler then that!
She told me to make my self at home, check out the shop, and I could go in the back and get sodas out of the fridge if I was thirsty.
We talked about her shop and talked about the show.
I also talked to Dennis Halbritter (who was insanely awesome.) about the show and stuff, and bought a t-shirt.
Kat brought out her (hairless) cat Ludwig and I got to pet him and the whole experience just practically made my life.
Kat is so much prettier in real life and very nice.
I've met a few other celebrities but none have been as warm and inviting as Kat.

I'm happy to hear Kat is so down to earth, and was cool with you. Hate to hear of people getting shunned by otherwise ordinary humans who happen to have some fame. She is a talented artist, would love to look through her flash book sometime.
I love Kat- she was really sweet when I met her last year. I wish I could have thought of something more interesting to say then just "It's nice to meet you..."
