Her Curse Biography

The beginning of Her Curse

The Atomica Years:

Her Curse was created by Dave Dani as a small punk band called The Rejects. The Band consisted of Dave on Vocals, Tom on Bass and Guitar, and Chuck on Backup Vocals. The band was basically a Misfits cover band that dreamed of becoming something more than that one day. As the year progressed, Dave's friend Keith Clark joined on Guitar. Tom switched to bass and then Chuck quit. The band noticed the millions of band called the Rejects, so they changed their name to mucus. Then Atomica. The band Covered a Song called " The Day the Earth Caught Fire " and did their first few originals called " Fallen Angel " and " Red Train ". After almost 2 years, the band finally got a drummer and had 1 practice before they split up due to huge musical differences.

The Beginning... S.M.A.S.H.

Dave got together with the drummer who joined Atomica, Robert. They set out to create a band similar to HIM. Robert got his bestfriend Richard Gamble to join on guitar. Dave talked one of his bestfriends Troy Davis to join on Keyboards and then found an absolutely amazing guitarist by the name of Tyler Pelley. Dave brought a kid named Nick into the band while teaching him bass to be thier bassist. They called themselves S.M.A.S.H. ( Subluminal Messages Awaken Something Hidden ) and came together at Troy's place and created the song " Unleash ". The song was inspired deeply by Avenge Sevenfold's Bat Country, even though the two songs sounded nothing alike. By the band's Second band practice, Tom was so impressed he joined on Guitar. Nick eventually left the band and Tom switched to bass. Then the band was joined by Keith. The Atomica trio was back. Unfortunately Troy left the band and the band began to practice in their close friend name Samantha's living room. After a few practices they called them selves Ixion.

Ixion the impossible fall

The band created 2 new songs " Witches and Other Night Fears " and " Savior ". 2 practices after they created the songs, Tyler quit. This hurt the band greatly. The band tried to play a gig on Halloween, but it failed greatly. Practice was moved to Robert's house. The band carried all of their equiptment ( Amps, Guitars, Cables, Bass Amps, Mics & Stands ) for about 5 miles to Robert's house after a night of every member of the band besides Dave getting Drunk. They then had hangovers. The band continued on even though all hope seemed lost for them and created a bad recording of their song " Unleash " and their Cover song " Right here in my arms ". They started to get a small group of fans, but nothing huge. After awhile, Tom left the band due to the band's direction and musical differences. They then recruited Trey and amazing bassist on bass into the band. Trey missed alot of practices due to him being grounded and busy with school band. So trey was kicked out as a group decision. With just Dave, Robert, and Richard, things was bad. Really bad, but then Dave got Corey to join and Jill. They created more songs and perfected every one of them under the name of Guilty of Her Curse ( Her Curse ).

Her Curse

The band played their very first gig on 4/20/07 and their school and was a hit. They played 7 gigs over the summer of 2007 and did amazing at them all, but towards the last 3, things changed. Jill and Richard began to date and that was causing problems, They had a new keyboardist named Charles and he was learning the songs slowly and things needed to be fixed up and changed, yet some of the band members didn't want that. So as of recently Richard, Jill and Charles has broken off and created a new band with the name of S.M.A.S.H. and Corey, Dave and Robert with their old bassist Trey is continuing on as Her Curse. Currently looking for a new Keyboardist and songs WAY better than ever, Her Curse is well on the way of making it in the music world and people's hearts.
