ok so it's been a couple of days I've gotten out of that crazy funk I was in.  I'm super excited about the first Pinion show.  I was really hyper at practice last night I'm not really sure what the fuck was going on.  Anyway for this post I decided to go back to the first thing I ever wrote.  I was 17 my friend Brian and I started up a band called Dieversion.  We had like six songs written with no lyrics and no singer.  His girlfriends little brother was kind of a waste of space at home so he asked him to come down and sing for us.  The Rockland kids know him From Close my eyes but Adam actually started out with Dieversion.  Anyway we needed something for the dude to sing so I went to work here's what came of it.

Downfall

Unwillingnes to compromise is the death of our society and our procrastination to do so will be the death of our dreams I see an apocolypse a world engulfed in flames.  People consumed by petty differences will be the downfall of us all.

Rape our land, for every last cent
no morals a slow decent
the world is filled with racist pigs
who destroy all we hold dear
they spread lies
and preach their hate
burried alive will be our fate

We've been controlled by our fear
those who stand up we don't hear
blind to the injustice
that plagues all mankind
dreams of a better life
that never materialise
