Hybrid Children

History lesson aka Superstardom here we come!

Hybrid Children was formed in 1991 by Jasse (voc/guitar), Kelly (drums/voc), TV (guitar), and Jasse's cousin Jarno (bass). Soon they released in quick succession three 7" EP's through independent Alternative Action Records and eventually signing to Poko Rekords' sub label Gaga Goodies in 1992.

Spring 1993 saw the release of the debut album Bleed Baby Bleed, which peaked at #13 on the Finnish national chart. 1993 was spent touring extensively around clubs and festivals around Finland and during the summer bassist Jarno decided he'd had enough of various excesses which surround rock'n'roll life. In an instant Pale was recruited and fitted into the group on a very short notice. Albeit Pale has been a steady member since, due drunken disagreements he has left the band several times.

The Lost Years

1998 saw TV spending more time travelling and Hybrids had a few replacements while recording DRUGSTER in the sweltering summer heatwave. Another classic recording. If you don't have it yet, download it from somewhere and get crazy!

2002 Lauri was hijacked to play guitar from semi-permanent status to permanent, as TV's adventures in South America reached MacGyver like epic proportions and it seemed there was now time for rock and roll when you had to make a difference. (He has survived, saved the day and is doing quite well at the moment. Thanks for all those lovely years TV!)

2004...2005 World of Tomorrow, Here We Come!

2004 saw the release of Ghost Town Carnival, a brilliant gem of drunken anthems for underage teenagers and old rockers with all hope lost and fortunes of the beautiful youth already wasted. Tons of gigs around the world, mainly between Venice and Helsinki, but if you're watching life drift by thru beer goggles the world is yours, as one classic movie put it so aptly.

Past the Future

The rest in between the past and the album Ghost Town Carnival is hazy and mostly blank, but we're sure they were good times.
