TRIG: Hi Jamie, you are working on your new album right now. How's the work going?
JC: Work is going great. It's very open and exciting and I am looking forward to recording my new album.
TRIG: Give us a clue as to what the album will sound like. Does it have a title?
JC: I'm thinking very jazzy but born totally out of 21st century.
TRIG: You played recently with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. What was that like?
JC: One of the best msucial experiences of my life, and the audience response was fantastic.
TRIG: Are you inspired by classical music?
JC: Slightly, only through jazz i.e Miles from Sketches of Spain.
TRIG: How would you describe your personel style?
JC: Scruffy yet considered, and I don't take myself too seriously.
TRIG: How do you see yourself and your music evolving?
JC: I see it evolving more open and truly original, as well as recording my new album I have been working on a dance project with my brother Ben so I am very open to different sounds..
TRIG: Do you have expensive taste in any areas?
JC: I have three expensive tastes; Food, shoes and guitars!
TRIG: Could you fill in the blanks below?
The record I love most is... "A Love Supreme" - John Coltrane
My guilty pleasures are... Internet porn and gay cocktails
When I have free time, I like to... Walk around cities with headphones on, playing good music.
People always tell me... I'm short.
My biggest regret is... I wasn't a drummer.
