I'm a concert and live event photographer and owner of MidWest Excess an online music and entertainment website. I am also the house photographer for the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Mi. and I shoot for The KLQ Metal Show and The Intersection from time to time.I started shooting concerts around 8 years ago. I currently shoot a Canon 30D and a Nikon N90S. Someday I would like to upgrade to a MKII or 5D but due to the, sometimes hazardous environment of concert photography, I've elected to stick with a camera that won't take me months to replace in the event it gets landed on by a pair of boots or covered in beer, sweat, spit and whatever else comes my way. Best example would have to be shooting a GWAR show!!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Trig.
See you in the pit !!!
Just the way music has to be! I love it when a band is so tight it sends chills down my spine.
VIS=POWER:
Unmerciful waves of sound so brutal they leave you gasping for air.
CELERITAS=SPEED:
Speed alone does not make for a good band but when combined with the above two pieces of the puzzle it results an energy that is second to none.

For me to hang that starless night.
The rain had stopped, my friends were there,
My turn was up to find the chair,
My hooks were thrown, the rack was strung,
