    If the batteries are ok you should be able to just pull the TRIGger and it will roll.
    if not replace batteries, should have 1 or 2 AA batteries in the grip of the camera, and a Watch-like battery underneath where the film goes. FIlm is tough to come by, specialist camera shops usually, 
    What sort of Super 8mm is it?
