I was walking along Front St. this morning, when I got to Toronto at 7am and couldn't help but notice the stretch between Yonge St. and Church St. smelled of pot. I may not have had the stuff in a number of years, but I definitely know the aroma. Heck, it must have been a really fun festival in Berczy Park that I missed. I'm sure they probably had all kinds from around the world... I wonder if the stuff soaked in camel dung was there as well? I couldn't tell as it's been so long. If i knew about it, I'm sure I could have convinced the wedding party that I was shooting to have their party down in Berczy Park. I'm sure that stuff may have been as expensive as RibFest in Guelph, but we'd all be feelin' too good to care about it. Not to mention the killing that the Canadian government could have made on GST... and Ontario PST as well, considering that we're talking about a product rather than a service.
My only complaint about this is that they didn't advertise it on the City of Toronto's web site. Sheesh... what good is having a festival if you don't advertise it.
Oh, I get it... it was Dalton McGuinty's way of celebrating his Liberal majority this past week. Had I known that this would be the fringe benefit of winning, I just might have voted for him.
