Same CodeMonkey... Different Cage!

It's been a few weeks since blogging as I have been settling into a new CodeMonkey gig and getting used to the quirks at this place. If anything, I'm doing a social media gig, but for kids. There's a lot to grasp onto here, but if anything, I still see things as I always have... data. To me, it's nothing more than data flowing in and flowing out.
The good thing is that I feel a little sanity in having some better hours. I have been getting home before dinner and I get to wake up an hour later. Combined with the fact that it is actually paying better, and I honestly couldn't ask for better... for the time being.
It's a shame because of all things I miss from the old gig, was some of the madness. Don't ask why, but I did. Moving on was a necessity, however, as I had to clean up a bit of a mess that I made with my some personal feelings while there. All things considered, I felt as if I was dancing too close to the fire, begging to get burned. Not only are things getting a lot clearer in that respect, I'm also getting more time to finish up my next CD, Tattered and Torn. This feels important to me.
