October 21, 2007:My 2nd Blog-My Vegan Post

So I'm in this Trig vegan/vegeterian group and I just posted a reply to '' why I chose to Be Vegan/Vegeterian''
This is what I posted..
well..im vegan and growing up with a family thats not vegan/vegeterian was difficult especially because they refuse to eat even a little snack without any meat or animal products.. i didnt even tell them i was vegan..just one day i was geting food and i said i didnt want any meat and they were like '' omg are u sick??'' now this was years ago and to this day my brother still asks me why i decided to go VEGAN and I tell him.and then months later he asks me again..but he says he's not going to change because hes just used to eating meat..etc etc..well i hate it when i go to stranger's houses and they give me food.they always put meat in it and i always end up giving the meat to my Mum.. the person gets offended like ''oh no she didnt!!''..but i just tell them i dont eat meat etc etc and they just give me this weird look and usually say ''uh huh ok whatever'' and then they take it as if dissing them or their cooking or something..and they all end up talking trash about me saying that im a brat or i dont have manners..SO I DONT HAVE MANNERS BECAUSE I REFUSE TO EAT UR FOOD??!! WELL IM SORRY BUT IM NOT GOING TO CHANGE TO PLEASE ANY ONE ESPECIALLY NOT TOTAL STRANGERS...!!!!!..
PEOPLE STILL THINK ITS WEIRD TO THIS DAY..THEY ARE JUST GOING TO EXCEPT IT..
