I go to the airport to head on my long 9hr trip to Amsterdam.
Thursday 17
It was tiresome, and then wait about 2 hours to head to Helsinki 2 hour flight. (the food made me sickish plus the motion sickness of landing too hard) My cellphone wont work and i am frantically trying to make it work so I can try to get a hold of Sarah B. It takes about almost an hour but she finally finds me and we head to the hotel. But our taxi takes an alternative route to drop off some guys luggage. And we passed a electricity box with a fat naked man on it. After unpacking and still feeling nauseous we walk around the city for 3hours, play on the swings, come across a tree that looks like a person, an owl statute that looked and followed me. We found a shopping store and it was fun to get snacks and talk. Since I was feeling as if I were to puke with every step we head back to the hotel to relax, watch some finnish tv shows, and talk about music, and watch cat soup and from hell.
Friday 18
Meet up with Tessara, Kari, Faniva, sarah and I walk around 3/4 or more of Helsinki for 5 hours. Saw Gemini Fiveon the street. Went to a few shops, got lost or thought we were, talked and it was fun, then we head back and get ready for Trash Fest. Got all dolled up with my top, skeleton corset and mini jean skirt, and tights and 5 in shoes. I did look fun, we went got to photograph, met mike from violent divine, acey, se the girls from trig, great girls! and find out I don't like the smell of finnish beer. I was talking shots from all angles on the floor, and the balcony. All the bands rocked out!!! talked to mike some more befoer I left to go work on the photographs worked on a chunk of images and go to bed at 5am.
Saturday 19
Get up at 9am get ready and hang out with the girls again walked around Helsinki, Saw Jyrki walking down the street, of course I stared like a lost idiot(beautiful man), and everyone else looked away, gauh i hate looking like a fan girl. well after getting another outfit to go with my other corset. we look for food, made a strange loop. Then head back to get ready for trash fest. Well as we wait outside we all froze our butts off, well i cant retain any heat, so my joins were locking and shooting large mounts of pain in my body. even when I finally made it in I was still freezing and couldnt photograph as much, I had to kept stopping to rub my hands, wrist and legs. lame that my body cant handle itself. Well I was more of a fan girl but I still photograph what I could, damn tall people! head banging hardcore to Dope Stars Inc.!!!! and the grand finale was fun. The after party was fun as well, got to talk to Mike again a,d Alex as well, he speaks spanish beautifully, the first time i have ever thought spanish is sexy. Also started to have jack & pepsi, then vodaka & pepsi, I promised sarah I wouldnt get drunk so she wouldn't have to take care of me. So we head back at 4am and I tried to work on the pics but i pass out.
Sunday 20
we get up and eat and get ready to leave to the airport. Sarah left early. then it was Kari, Tessara and me left to wait. We were on the same plane to amsterdam, and detroit, i had fun haning out with them.
Monday 21
arrive in houston at 2:19pm.
