I'm a self proclaimed nerd/geek, and loving every minute of it. I love really, really old dead things buried in sand in far away countries. I love the smell of old, musty, dusty books.
I'm lazy as hell, and sarcastic, but I don't care what people think of either. That said I am a generally down to earth nice person, who everyone for some reason finds extremely easy to talk to.
Besides my love of all that is ancient and old, and learning in general, music is my life. As cliche as that sounds, it really is. Not just listening to a good tune, or CD, I mean the whole she-bang. Being at a live show gives me a high better than any other drug I have tried or heard of. I love finding bands and supporting and promoting them through thick and thin. Being with them from the very beginning, or as close to, all pot holes included. I love the music business and industry end of it all. I love doing PR work for my bands, and other bands. It is a passion of mine to help musicians achieve their goals, which achieves a goal of mine. I can't get enough of it. I'm currently up to my eyeballs with booking and promoting the bands I "work" for. But I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way. Getting them booked at that one venue, where that one fan is, who has been waiting for weeks, if not more, to see them and is standing in the audience screaming their lungs out along to the words. That's why I do what I do, and why I love it. Because I am on of those "kids" and always will be, so helping out and making it possible for at least one other kid out there is what drives me. Along with the sheer rush I get when the bands I book come running off stage, all sweaty and smiles beaming off their faces and pig pile me in group hugs. The rush, the joy, the peace even, they get from being up there on stage I revel in, because I know I am least part of the reason they got to experience it that night. It's what I wake up for every morning, regardless if I have a booking to do that day or if it's a day off on my end. It's become who I am.
I'm a lover of the drink as anyone who knows me, well really knows me or just recognizes my face, will tell you. Cherry Street bar in the dirty 'Burg is my favorite place to hang, especially on Thursday nights. It's like my second home, you know the "Cheers" tag line "where everyone knows your name", yeah that's my Cherry Street. Other than that I love all the rest of the bars in the dirty 'Burg. If it has tequila, whiskey, JD, Bud Light, Irish Car Bombs, Guiness and just about anything else and won't turn me away cuz I'm a freak in a small town/city, I'm there slapping my cash down. But I'm just out to have a good time with my buds, not to drown my sorrows in it. That I can't stand.
I'm also addicted to tattoos. I seriously didn't beleive my artist when he told me how addictive they were. But when I showed up for my second, Tom just shook his head and montioned for me to sit in his chair. It's been a slippery downhill slope since then, and I'm loving every minute of it. The constant buzzing sound of the needle has become a lullabye to me, it literally puts me to sleep in the chair so I have to be careful not to start to snore.
I'm crazy and off the wall, just plain insane. Pretty much I think I'm boring as hell most of the time. I am unpredictable and yet oddly overly dependable. Which will probably be my downfall. But that's just life, that's just me. I'll figure the rest of me out later.

you been? LOL anyways, I just pulled an all nighter and managed to get 7 new songs posted on Wisdom Drop's page! We now have a total of 19 songs posted.
