Despite spending my first night in Baltimore throwing up til about two am and cooking ourselves alive in 100+ degrees F, there was much fun to be had :P
For instance, FINALLY got to meet the rock goddess of a music promoter, the one and only Mama Trash, got to chill with the greatest twins alive, Bren and Ren, got to chill with my partner in crime, Pike (I behead 'em, she sticks 'em on display haha), and naturally got to chill with Crow and Leviathan :)
Also ended up working the TRIG.com table (since apparently the heat made me sick to my stomach again and I therefore couldn't be in the crowd) but it's all good cuz promoting TRIG is a fuckin' blast, no lie! got a free t-shirt (thanks Daniel!), got to talk to some fuckin' amazing new people, chill behind the TRIG table next to the uber cool Toby (works the 69 eyes merch table) and sing along to all the bands without being beaten up or throwing up haha!
After the fan-fuckin-tastic show was the signing, which I missed getting my group photo for cuz I was helping someone create their TRIG profile, but it's all good cuz I got to talk to Archzie for a bit (greatest hugger ever!), talked to Jyrki about tanning (weird but true), and pried Jussi away for a quick photo which is now MIA lol... although when I asked for a pic he did say "yeah yeah! Anything for TRIG!" once again proving how great TRIG is! HA!
Also talked to Luke from Night Kills The Day, who I absolutely love because he's such an awesome character on stage and definitely a nice guy (also turns out that he remembered me from NYC which I was pretty happy about), and talked to Wednesday briefly, told Racci he was a fuckin awesome drummer, and just kind of said hey to Nate haha
Then it was on a train to Philly with Leviathan, Crow, and Pike (I believe I slept the whole way lol sorry Bee!)
Signed some folks up to TRIG whilst waiting in line, met the très cool Dave who was also workin it for TRIG, hung out with my favourite Columbian, Faniva, and cooked myself alive again haha (by the by, thanks MT for the new TRIG shirt! the other one was kinda sweaty from Baltimore!)
Anyvay... concert rocked like fuck! (obviously... I mean it's The 69 fuckin' Eyes, Wednesday 13, Fair to Midland, and Night Kills The Day! how could it not be amazing?!) all the bands were giving it everything they had left and the crowd was veeeeerrrrryyyyy thankful! I was back to my usual front and center on the guardrail position which made NKTD's set a lot of fun (since I actually knew the words this time! lol) what with all the making room for Luke to stand on the railing (at least he warned me before he did it haha)... Wednesday got right up in our faces, which was phenomenal, and nothing tops being front and centre when your favourite band walks on stage! The 69 Eyes are true blue, natural, rockers! ain't gonna lie haha
the after signing bit was great :) got an awesome photo with all the guys this time (thanks Daniel for taking the pic and MT for taking another one haha), Anthony (NKTD) gave us (bee, MT, and I) a giant group hug and told us that he loved us and was going to miss us lol, and a bunch of other conversations took place and other fun stuff, including the signing of boobs haha, but this blog's too long already :P
so yay Baltimore and Philly! and I'll definitely be heading back down to the states for concerts in the future... or maybe just to hang with Bren and Ren haha
