Ok so I haven't posted a blog in a while....So what have my musings and experiences been over the last few weeks? Some have been strange, some have been drunken but all have involved me in some shape or form that is certain

At the insistance of Si's cousin Nicki, a complete stranger to me has been emailing me at work. Nicki knows the guy, Neil, to say hi to in work and have various chats with. Aparently we share the same tastes in music and would get on great she said. So she made Neil email me. He called her Vicki
It turns out that Neil and I do share similar tastes in music and I think we have became quite good email buddies. I say this as we've been chatting in work via the internal email system since that first day. I look forward to chatting with him actually not just to pass the working day but because he does seem like a great guy and that we'd probably get on great if we went out drinking - although I have to question his drinking preferances....beer yes...Bailey's and milk...erm.....?
I do have to admit that one day we did pass each other in the corridors at work and it was only a while later did I have that lightbulb moment where it occured to me that the guy in the blue shirt and long hair could actually have been Neil. So I asked and it was indeed Neil that I had passed in the corridor at which point I appologised for not realising it was him! Hopefully we shall recognise each other when we next meet in the corridors

Oh and he does know I'm a married mother of one so the almost matchmaker scenario of how we started chatting isn't quite what it seems

On friday night after work I went out with some work friends as one of them had left our section just before xmas but due to the financial restraints of the festive season he saw fit to postpone his leaving do until the beginning of February. So we all went out and got very merry. Very, very, very merry. I met my friend Mr Daniels with some coke in a glass and he then progressed into doubles as he was cheap that night. After we grew bored of the first pub we moved on. To an 80's themed bar.....and pitchers of Woo Woo. I cannot be trusted to hold a pitcher of this stuff - it just tastes of fruit juice and I will start to drink it and not stop until it is all gone.....

I thouroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone who wishes to consume alcohol....!

Although the night ended too soon for my liking - 12am chucking out time - Everyone had a great night out (even though the DJ cut off my request of "Safety Dance" before it had properly finished) and I hope that we shall do it again soon.....the 29th Feb has been penciled in I believe


Oh and I was informed tha ti shall be an aunt again in August....that's the one bit of this blog I had no involvement in whatsoever!
