Hello! To tell something about myself, I'll simply tell something about my nickname - waveparticle. We can learn alot about ourselves by studying the sciences, especially the 'new' physics, I'd say. Why? Because with the advent of quantum mechanics, we have learned that the universe at a fundamental level cannot be understood using conventional, dualistic thought systems. According to conventional western thinking, a thing simply is or is not. Quantum mechanics teach us, reality does not deal with absolutes. At a sub-atomic level, matter is neither solid, nor is it not solid. A particle is just as much a wave as it is a particle - it's all dependant on your point of view. These new scientific insights are anything but trivial in relation to how we percieve ourselves and our place in this world. It shows us that there is no such thing as an 'objective' reality 'out there'. Reality is rather to be seen as a network of relations between subjects, than a collection of objects. Further, the new physics teach us that 'reality' is in it's very nature - paradoxal. That is, at a surfice-level of things, it just doesn't make any 'sense'. Not only do the new physics defy 'common sense', they further defy every attempt to be understood conceptually. That is, wheither I can easily create a mental concept about something being 'solid' or something being a 'wave', I cannot successfully create a concept which doesn't diminish a 'waveparticle'. It just doesn't make any sense to the conceptual mind. That is, true understanding can not be 'hold' or 'owned', only experienced. That is, superficially, it's all a paradox, an enigma, but when we 'make peace' with this paradox, embrace it and surrender ourselves, we awake in a new world of Knowing beyond words and concepts. This is - naturally - something which most genuine spiritual teachings have tried to teach us since the early vedic scriptures. I find it extraordinary important and fascinating, however, to see that very similar conclutions are now dawning upon science, too.

Sinking, letting go, into my heart.
Opening, remembering.
So quaint, yet I know; this is Home.
Blue, shining, transparent flower,
its petals like a tunnel.
Growing, stretching through space,
loving, playing.
The flower is like the cervix.
I am the mother, I am the child.
Seen and the seer; not-one, not-two.

Thanks for the comment.
I usually don't paste my poetry up onto trig, or any other site, what can i say, i kinda keep my poetry to myself. Though i can show you two or three poems i have written. I dunno with me, i can always tell how a person is through their words or poetry.
You know if you read someones poetry, it just gives you an insight into what they are thinking or how they percieve the world. I take poetry very seriously, however, like you i am not some kinda of expert.
Really? I used to own Rock Band and I started on Hard on there and I got really good at it. But then all my shit for it broke so I returned it and bought Guitar Hero. I just ended up starting on Hard and I'm doing Expert on some songs. =)
Have any suggestions. . .how about Ireland!!!
Take care and be well,
Jeff
