They have toured in Norway and other European countries (such as Germany, Finland, Italy) and even China and have played with renowned artists as Def Leppard. These guys are known for putting on brilliant and energetic live shows so make sure you catch them if you ever get the chance!
With their critical acclaimed debut album, Malice in Wonderland got a dedicated and loyal fan base (also known as ”The Decadence Brigade”) pretty much all over the world. The debut album was hailed by music lovers and most critics in every corner of the planet and the boys are pleased with what they have accomplished so far. However, this is only the beginning!
The band is now back in the studio working on new songs that will be released in 2008 and 2009 and the music has taken a slightly different direction than the debut album. “The new songs are more guitar oriented and less keyboard driven” states Chri$ Wicked. “We are a four piece now and without a keyboard player there’s more room for Tracy’s brilliant guitar playing and that definitely makes the music sound more ‘bad ass’!”
The band is going back to their rock n' roll roots. “We're a little closer to our rock n' roll roots with the new material, you know, the music we grew up with as kids like The Cult, Guns n' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones, but we are – of course - still Malice in Wonderland as you know us. It's simply great, classic rock n' roll done in MiW style!”
In September 2008 Malice in Wonderland released the first single since their debut. A beautiful ballad named ”A Tear & A Whisper” that shows the band from a more mellow yet melodic side, a song that also proves how much diversity and song writing skills there is within this band. And best of all, a new full album is on the way so get ready for more new music in 2009!
The future sure looks bright for Malice in Wonderland and the band will continue to work hard and follow their dreams. So watch out for these Norwegian bad boys! History is about to be made and they want YOU to be a part of it!
