I am rarely here anymore and now I can be a critic and tell you why...I have very little time these days to update yet an additional site and when I come here what happens? I lose everything. I simply went into the profile editor to change the color of the text so I can actually SEE what I am typing and now my skin is gone. So...pfffttttt!

2009 "Quit The Studio" Tour Announced!

The 69 Eyes will have a break from their current work on their forthcoming
album to quit the studio and be on the road for a while with their
friends from Tiamat and others.

My fírst Trash Fest Blog...

It is 3am in Helsinki and I leave for the US in the am...I guess Helsinki will be my second home. Trash Fest 1 was extremely successful with over 1,000 people in attendance over two days! The bands rocked it, the all stars kicked ass and the FANS were amazing. The vibe of the festival was very warm and inviting as people from all over the world came together to be a part of the trash family. I met people from countries I have never heard of! Incredible!!!

LOTS of pics, videos and interviews on the way with a Trash Fest DVD to be released in the Fall.

Trash Fest 2 will be held in Helsinki Finland in April 2009!

I would like to thank ALL the bands that performed in addition to Jyrki, Jussi & Bazie of The 69 Eyes, and Skinny from Deathstars for joining the All Stars on stage. It was a extremely emotional moment for me to see my boys all together on one stage!

I would also like to thank all the fans for their love and support. What a weekend!!!

I am thrilled to announce that my dear vampire friends Jyrki and Bazie will be joining Jussi as my very special guests at Trash Fest 2008! Come out and see EIGHT awesome bands and say hello to Acey Slade, Skinny Kangur, Jyrki, Jussi and Bazie!

The Mama Trash All Star Band is set to take the stage for five songs @ 1:15am AFTER the headliner, Gemini Five on Saturday, April 19th (or should I say Sunday?). The Mama Trash All Star Band consists of Acey Slade and members of: The 69 Eyes, Gemini Five, Sexydeath, Vanity Beach, Stereo Junks and Dope Stars Inc...

I would like to congratulate the winners of the Trash Fest 2008 promo contest! They all did an awesome job!

First Prize: Victoria, Olga, Anna & Liudmila from St. Petersburgh Russia have won early entry for sound check and a private meet and greet with Dope Stars Inc!

Second Prize: Tessara from Corning, California won a private meet and greet along with two of her friends with Sexydeath!

Trash Fest Update!

Tickets are still on sale at tiketti.fi for Trash Fest! Apparently (thanks to Suz for telling me) 2 day passes were showing up as almost sold out! That isn't the case. The single day tickets are almost sold out. We are having the problem rectified so if you are looking for the 2 day tickets at the reduced rate keep checking back at tiketti.fi. It should be fixed in the next day or two. Please note, you must get them in advance through tiketti.fi otherwise they are regular price per day at the door.

Still working on a few surprises for Trash Fest, but other than that everything is falling into place with meet and greets, contests, special guests and killer sets. Gemini Five has a new member so be sure to check him out at Trash Fest!

Friday night in addition to performances/meet and greets by/with Violent Divine, Sexydeath, Iconcrash and Private Line; meet and greets will be set up with Acey, Jussi and Skinny! Darin from Dope Stars Inc, Natasha Meltdown and Tin Star & Hot Rod from Gemini Five will be DJing!
