it was a great day this year......
we started it in Lithuania in 2007.
STREET MUSICIAN DAY......every first saturday of May. everyone, who has any musical instrument and can play or at least make some noise, goes out on the streets of their city and play all day long......
this year (2008) we had around 1000 musicians on the streets of Vilnius (capitol of Lithuania)
also the 31 city joined STREET MUSICIAN DAY......
this May we had around 3000 people playing music all day long all over Lithuania......
i hope, one day the whole world will join us.....
