If you really want to get into life of an Finn you have to meet some. So at this point Introduce you a Finnish family. You'll meet them in everyday life afterwards. I want this to be interactive.. so I'll put vote link to the end so you can choose which one becomes the main character.
The ladies
Milla 42 year old Police officer
Heippa minä olen Milla tai Miltsi, niinkuin monet sanoo töissä. Toimin poliisina ja se on työ siinä mikä muu tahansa. Ei siinä mitään kummallista ole. Harrastan monenlaista urheilua ja nuorempana tuli heitettyä keihästä ihan mestaruustasolla. Joskus muutan kyllä maalle olen säästäny sukanvarteen ukon kanssa sitä varten, mutta pitää saada lapset ensin maailmalle. Niitä kun on siunaantunut aika monta ja usemmastakin lähteestä. Mökki ja perunamaa siintää jo simissä. Punkki on mun juttu! Aina ollut ja aina tulee olemaan!
Hi I am Milla or Miltsi , as many call me at work. I work as police officer and that is a work as any other. Nothing strange in it. I practice various sports and as younger I threw javelin in championship level. Some day I'll move to the countryside. I have been saving with my man for it, First the kids have to fly out of the nest. I've been blessed with those from several sources :) Cottage and potato field loom already In my eyes. Punk is my thing. Always has been and always will!
Heidi 27 years old salesperson working in all-in one clothing shop.
Moi, olen Heidi ja iloinen tyttö, pidän jummppamisesta, tanssista, shoppailusta ja tietysti likkojen kanssa juoruamisesta. Aloitin juuri keskikaupungilla vaatemyyjänä ja toivottavasti saan vakiopaikan sieltä. Olen asunut elämäni aikana varmaan kahdessakymmenessä kaupungissa ympäri eurooppaa ja puhun sujuvasti 4 kieltä. Tykkään lattaripopista ja Hip hopista. Mutta kyllä kevyempää rokkiakin kuuntelee.
Moi, I am Heidi and a joyful lass, I like working out, dancing, shopping and naturally rumouring with gals. I just started my work in down town as cloth seller and desire to get a steady position there. I have surely lived over 20 cities around Europe and speak fluently 4 languages. I enjoy Latino-pop and Hip-hop, but lighter rock is worth listening too.
Jonna 25 year old graphic designer
Moi, olen Jonna ja Pidän kaikesta käsillä tekemisestä niin paljon että siitä tuli lopulta työni, vaikkei minulla muodollista pätevyyttä siihen olekaan. Opiskellen työni ohella ja vielä pitäisi ehtiä lapsetkin hoitamaan. Haluaisin matkustella niin paljon kuin suinkin. Rankka rokki kolahtaa minuun ja kaikki huvittavat bändit. Pyöräilen joka päivä töihin 12 km satoi tai paistoi, siksi ei trvitse isommin kuntoa muutoin hoitaa.
Moi, I am Jonna and enjoy anything I can to do with my hands so much that it eventually became my work although I am not formally educated in it. I study along with my work and should have enough time to take care of the kids too. I would like to travel as much as possible. Hard rock gets me going as well as comical bands. I cycle daily 12km to work whatever the weather, therefore I do not need any other exercise.

Forget double murders.... its a toss up between Milla and Jonna...
. I think those two just need to take Heidi out for a drink and she never returns!

I may be wrong on this but I think the characters are to be used in future FCC blogs, so we're voting on which one we want.
Though I still supsect a novel is being written.

Are these actually real people, or characters? I must say I'm a litle confused(though judging by the other comments - at least not the only one : ).
I would choose Heidi as we are about the same age & have the most things in common - she actually sounds like someone I would be friends with.
I vote Miltsi. Maybe as we share similarities, close in age and are happy with a life that brings one family, contentment and peaceful ease. to me a home and family are all one really needs in life to be content. It's just getting there that is difficult
kisses for making one think.
I am not as generous as seregwethrin, so no trigs until I get a satisfactory explanation of what the hell is going.
