MAN.MACHINE. INDUSTRY was formed in the year 2000.

At first as a side project to HI-TECH ADDICTED LEGION but over the years MMI became the main band forsongwriter/producer J. Bergman ( ex SLAPDASH, MNW records / Nuclear Blast rec ) and grew to be what it is today, an aggressive pumping killing machine with extreme driving force.

The first full length CD “MENTION” (twelve track CD) was released in 2001, at that time, more synth-industrial with guideline bands such as; FLA, and Skinny Puppy and did not contain much guitars at all, got awesome reviews and response. “MENTION” was voted one of that years best CD releases by Martin Larsson at CLOSE-UP MAGAZINE.

With the second release “ENTER THE CIRCLE” (six track CD) MMI took another turn towards a more metal based sound.

Guideline bands where now more towards PLP, Misery Loves Co and Ministry. Now with a full live line-up the band got more gigs and the “metal-heads” began showing up to the gigs and slam the floor which is what it’s all about.

The third release “THIS TIME WE´RE DEAD FOR SURE" (CDR demo) contained three re-recorded songs from the debut MENTION and three new recorded tracks.
One of them “Why heroes fade away” was to be a real MMI live-classic.

Heavy as few and emotional as some. With MMI´s fourth release "TO HELL AND BACK" (CDR demo) the sound of this killing machine has developed into it’s true form of industrial metal.

The fresh new 6 track CD is titled
"THE DEVILS BLUES... TO HELL AND BACK"
and contains 6 tracks that did not make the upcoming album.
Not cuz they sucked, they realy kicks ass, but mainly cuz they just did not fit the mood
the album had in its hole concept.
The CD also contains two videos, one from the PS3 game THE DARKNESS
and one live filmed at a show in Finland back in 2005.

MMI now sounds like no other act but of cause you can here influences from great bands such as Ministry, Prong, Killing Joke and Rob Zombie but without being a lame copycat.

TO HELL AND BACK has only gotten good and great reviews and it just keeps on coming.

Now the upcoming release from MMI is finished and will be out jan 2009.
